Guide to the operation of electric heating ovens and precautions

I. Operating method of electric heating oven

1. Preparation before operation

- Environmental inspection

Make sure the oven is free of flammable and explosive materials, is well ventilated, and is free of any damage to the power cord and plug.

- Equipment cleaning

Clean the residue in the box to avoid contaminating the sample or causing a foul odor.

- Sample placement

- Samples should be placed evenly in a high temperature tray or vessel to avoid direct contact with the inner wall of the box.

- It is prohibited to bake flammable, explosive, volatile or corrosive substances (such as organic solvents, strong acids and alkalis).

2. Steps of booting up

1. Turn on the power to start

- Turn on the power supply and turn on the oven power switch. The panel indicator light is lit.

2. Set parameters

- The temperature is adjusted on demand (usually by a knob or digital panel), and the conventional baking temperature ranges

from 50 ° C to 300 ° C, depending on sample characteristics.

- Set baking time if you need to schedule it (some models support automatic power outages).

3. Preheat

- Close the door of the box, start the heating function, and wait for the temperature inside the box to increase

to the set value (about 10-30 minutes).

4. Put in a sample

- Wear high-temperature gloves, open the door of the box, place the sample quickly and close the door to reduce heat loss.

5. Operational monitoring

- Observe temperature stability during baking and avoid opening the door frequently.

- Some models require temperature curves to be recorded (e.g. laboratory ovens).

3. End the operation

- Turn off power supply

After the baking is complete, turn off the heating switch and turn off the total power supply until the temperature drops below 60 ° C.

- Remove the sample

Use a heatproof tool to remove the sample to avoid scalding.

- Clean maintenance

Clean the residue in the box and keep it dry.

II. CAUSES (Safety Notices)

1. Safety operating specifications

- Excessive use: Do not exceed the rated temperature of the equipment in order to prevent damage

to the heating element or to cause a fire.

- Avoid overload: The items in the box should not be placed more than 2 / 3 of the volume to ensure the hot air circulation.

- Dedicated guard: When running for a long time, it is necessary to carry out regular inspections,

and detect abnormalities (smell, smoke, uncontrolled temperature) immediately shut down the power.

- Protective against heat: Wear gloves while operating and do not put the body close to the exhaust vent of the oven.

2. Special substance treatment

- Sealed containers are disabled: a sealed container may burst when heated, and the lid needs to be opened

or a breathable container used.

- Wet material control: High humidity samples need to be heated in stages to avoid sudden release

of steam causing an increase in the pressure in the box.

3. Safety of electricity use

- Ground protection: Make sure the oven is well grounded to avoid the risk of electricity leakage.

-Power matching: Use an independent electric supply outlet, avoid sharing with other high-power equipment.

4. Emergency Management

- Sudden power outage: Turn off the power switch and reset the parameters once the power is restored.

Fire disposal: Power off immediately, use dry powder fire extinguisher to put out the fire, no water!

III. Daily maintenance and maintenance

1. Clean the box regularly: Clean the inside and outside of the box every month, and check whether the seal is aging.

2. Calibrate temperature: Calibrate the oven temperature control system with a professional thermometer

every six months to ensure accuracy.

3. CHECK ITEMS: Each year, repair core components such as heating pipes, fans, and circuits, and replace lost parts in a timely manner.

epilogue

The electric heating oven is a common equipment used in laboratory and industrial production,

and standard operation and regular maintenance are the key to safeguarding and extending the life of the equipment.

Please be sure to follow the instructions, strengthen safety awareness, and avoid accidents caused by mishandling.

Safety first, regulation of operations.
